The
Rockingham Swimming Club was founded in
1946 and today is a proud
Australian club with many second and
third generation Aussies making up a large proportion of its members.
The Club trains out of new facilities at Aqua
Jetty in Warnbro, a community next door to Rockingham. We
train 50
weeks of the year and our season
is split into Winter (May - Sept) and Summer (Oct - April). We only
break in the third and fourth week of April for senior swimmers, and
all of April for Juniors.
All our coaches are accredited through the
Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association and have current
Police and Working with Children clearances.
We have a variety of different training
squads to suit every age and type of swimmer.
The Rockingham Swimming Club also offers training
programmes specifically designed for related sporting clubs. The focus
is on stroke correction and endurance training to
improve strength, speed and fitness for tri-athletes, surf life saving
members, and even mums and dads! Even the odd Rottnest Channel Swimmer
can jump in here.

Dive And Try Swim Meets

The Aqua Jetty has a rule that “Children Under the age of 11 are not permitted to enter the

The draft Club Summer Time Trial and Championships Programs are now available for download from the News page. There are 4 standard nomination forms. The Club Fitness Squad can choose between the State Development & State and National Squads.
